KS2 Jolly Postman Unit

I did this postcard and letter writing unit with my Year 3 class.
Differentiated. Detailed lesson plans with curriculum links and resources.

For the stamps I used a free download from twinkl: http://www.twinkl.co.uk/resource/t-c-050-role-play-stamps

At the end of the unit I laminated all the letters and postcards and made a class version of the book that the children can sign out and take home to read. If I'd had more time I would have liked to rewrite the book pages but as time was limited they copied the words from the original book and drew their own images.

Also, next time I would organize the book pages back to back and then laminate them so there are less white pages and it would take less time/laminating pockets.

The last day was really just a fun day to keep some busy while the ones who weren't quite finished yet, finished up but they really enjoyed making their wanted posters.
