A sequence of 9 (+1 assessment) lessons that is focused on:

How the theme of power is presented in Macbeth at the start of the play (by Macbeth and Lady Macbeth).

How does the murder of Duncan affect Macbeth and Lady Macbeth?

Each lesson contains:

A differentiated (by task) starter.
Clear Lesson Objectives and outcomes (linked to AOs).
Differentiated (by task) activities throughout each lesson.
Feedback Plenaries.

The sequence of lessons also contains an AQA-style Assessment that can be printed into a student booklet for completion at lesson 10. This assessment has been designed to mirror the AQA Shakespeare element but also has an unseen poem as an additional task.

This unit also contains;
