Using this resource with SEN children:
This particular resource was designed in particular with my ASD son in mind. He particularly disliked mark making but by cutting out each section, allowing him control over what he would use to trace with (pencils, crayons, felt tips and sometimes finger paints if he needed to) he could engage with the task on his own agenda. Allowing him choices, allowing him to find materials that felt appropriate for him to use ensured he could access the activity.
