Possible Questions

You are going to see 100 slides.

Each one shows a question in German that you could be asked during the follow-on-conversation part of your Performance (ie after you have given your prepared presentation).

Society, Learning, Employability and Culture are covered (but the main focus in on Society and Learning).

Test yourself to see how many of the questions you understand. Clicking anywhere on the screen brings up a translation of the question.

You can work through the questions one by one, in their original order, or you can ‘randomize’ the order in which they appear by typing a number between 2 and 101 and hitting enter/return.

Why not make a note of the questions that catch you out (the slides are numbered) and focus on them ?

You can, of course, practice answering the questions as they come up, but this presentation is designed mainly to get you used to understanding possible questions so that when you hear them for real in your Performance, you can respond quickly and confidently.

The above is taken from the first slide and are the instructions as to how candidates can use the presentation at home.

The presentation can also, of course, be used in class. This could be done whole-class (as a competion between individuals or groups).

Alternatively, pupils could be working on this alone or in pairs with one person using the presentation to generate questions to ask the other person questions. The second pupil could give the translation and/or an answer. This could be a useful solution to the challenge of keeping sections of a multi-level (composite) class busy while the teacher is working with another part of the class.

The presentation could also be set for covered classes and use by candidates on an ongoing basis at home as the exams approach.
