Print on cardstock and cut apart into individual cards. Cards have the pictures of 36 different flags. Make 1 set for every 3-4 students. Cards are pictures only, so they are good for any language. For SLAP: Place cards face up on the desk. Teacher calls out one of the cards. First student to SLAP the card, wins it. At end of round, the student with the most cards wins. For GO FISH: Each set of cards has 2 or 4 copies of the page. Deal 6 cards per player. The remaining cards go face down in the fish pond. Any pairs that students already have may be set down at the beginning of their first turn. They must say I have 2 (a pair of) … when laying down the cards. For their turn they ask another player Do you have a … If yes, they get the card, announce their pair and lay them down. If no, they draw a card from the fish pond.
