Native American Story Writing

Write a story using Native American symbols. Celebrations of Thanksgiving date back as far as the 1500s. However, when we think of the ‘First Thanksgiving’ we think about the group of colonists that came to America in the 1600s. When they first arrived, they did not have enough food. The Wampanoag Native Americans helped these pilgrims by giving them seeds to plant and by teaching them how to fish. This feast lasted three days and included fish, wild fowl, venison, berries, fruit, vegetables, and maize or corn.
