An interview with an army GP doctor, called Nics Wetherill, who planned and led a 61-day polar expedition in Antarctica with a team of six women (called the Ice Maidens). The team travelled 1,700 km across frozen snow, 2 km deep, to research the impact of extreme expeditions on women’s bodies.
