RAINFORESTS OF SABAH - PART 2 - THE COMMUNITY OF PLANTS

This is the second in the series on the rainforests of Sabah. It is designed to take students into the rainforest and by photograph and diagram recognise plant features. Questions are set throughout the pages which focus attention on the community of plants and their adaptations to environmental conditions. This material has been used in secondary geography and environment study areas. The plant detective page is designed to link this unit with unit 1 on the 5 layers of the rainforest. A check test page is provided on the final page which should help to find levels of understanding. This is provided as an attachment so that copies can be given out. Observe the rainforest.
