These task cards are designed to practise and assess number recognition from 40 to 50 . They can be used as stand-alone activities or are ideal for use after the Rekenrek Show, Say, Write cards (the red cards).
These cards can be used as part of a whole-class activity, in small groups, independently or part of basket work in an Autism class to build fluency. The cards are also ideal for use with children with dyscalculia, dyslexia or visual learners. By incorporating the Rekenrek, students not only recognize numbers but also deepen their understanding of the relationship between numbers and quantities.
These cards have a set of answers for self correction and they can be reused to enable children to develop automatic recognition of a quantity and a number.
