This resource is aimed at KS4 students and is useful as it covers the following learning objectives...

- Identify the resultant force acting on an object.

- Describe the motion of an object that has a zero and a non-zero resultant force.

- Explain the forces acting on an object by reading a free body diagram.

- Apply your knowledge to draw a scaled free-body diagram showing forces as vectors to find a resultant vector.

- Link your understanding of Pythagoras theorum to find the resultant force acting on an object when two forces are acting at 90o to each other.

There are differentiation opportunities for lower and higher ability students (check the green challenge questions). I have also included feedback boxes, in which you should put students names to keep individuals engaged and ready to learn and feedback.

Additional information sheet and questions attached.
