The lesson highlights how pupils can vary their sentence openings to engage their readers. Pupils assess the effect of a series of sentence openers, they then break down the differences between the sentence openings through a series of activities, before creating their own story using a stimuli, which has built up from previous activities.

A fast-paced lesson with varied activities. Take the work out of teaching with this student led lesson.
