4 starter questions and their answers
A writing frame for SEND / EAL students
An ambitious word bank
20 sentence prompts (40 altogether) that include a model example on each slide.
Heavily scaffolded creative writing, for students who struggle to write independently.

Prompts include using literary techniques e.g. personification; structural techniques e.g. a sentence fragment for effect; and more challenging prompts such as writing a sentence that does not use the letter ‘e’.

Lessons to be used in sequence. Aim is to get students thinking about individual sentence crafting.
