Lesson looking at the difficulties associated with space travel, how they can be overcome and NASA’s project to launch a manned mission to mars.

This 18 slide lesson contains: theory, questions, answers, paired work, gap fill, carefully selected video, and high quality images throughout.

Good 18 slide lesson and great value for money for only £2.

Objectives:

  1. To understand some of the problems with putting people into space.
  2. Explain how these problems can be overcome.
  3. Form your own opinion on whether it is worth sending people to mars.

PLEASE NOTE: The preview images are poor (this is an issue with the tes preview creator software) but the PowerPoint images themselves are all good.

Best wishes,
Jack Wiseman

Very simple tasks that are not worth paying for. For example, the 'literacy' task is to copy a word down three times for the spelling. Not at all what I was expecting based on the description. It is certainly not a whole lesson, unless you have the textbooks referred to and want students to make a poster for half the lesson. The best thing on this PowerPoint was the link to the 'carefully selected video', i.e. a TEd talk. On top of this there are grammar issues throughout the PowerPoint. Definitely not worth the money.
