Everything you need to deliver 4 activities related to motion. Easily adaptable and suitable for Year 7- 9. The slides for each activity include the apparatus needed, method and results. They are about 40 minutes long approximately.
- Walking with style: students to work out their walking speed. It can be done in a distance learning lesson.
- Be the teacher!: students to prepare a battery of questions and swap them. It can be done in a distance learning lesson.
- Speed investigations: the typical practical with slopes and toy cars.
- The graph of a journey: the students build a distance/time graph from a short story.
These activities can be used alongside any KS3 SOW.
