The question is, how did water, to which everyone was equally entitled, become so contaminated and end up killing the most vulnerable people in London? A social history resource detailing poor people’s lack of access to clean water, the knock on effect on their lives and its contribution to cholera. This is ideal for English KS3/KS4 students as it provides crucial context for the 19th century novel.
