Using visualiza tion to inspire descriptive and narrative writing in one exercise

This is useful for GCSE type writing exercises to show the difference between descriptive writing and narrative writing based on the same source. The teacher describes a scene and the students visualize it. Then a task is set to write both descriptive and narrative from the same source. Teacher's notes are provided together with finished examples of how the work may be done.
