For any class doing an introduction to laboratory equipment (age 8+).

Use as a starting challenge to identify what the pieces of the equipment are, that have been photographed from different angles. More able pupils should be able to write a description of what they are used for too. 5 pieces of equipment pictured- tripod, test tube, safety mat, tongs and bunsen.

The whole task should take 2-5 minutes and should consolidate the memorisation of names of some basic equipment.

When clicked the zoomed out photo will appear. This can give a second chance if a pupil is struggling as they still have to name it.
