I used this with my year 7 class when teaching about Chromatography. They were given the suspects and the scene was set. They had to investigate using chromatography different drinks (dyes prepared and labelled by the technicians) and figure out Who Killed Mr Burns. This can be altered depending on resources and equipment available. My year 7's loved it though and it worked really well
