The lesson begins with a think, pair, share activity with some images for students to guess the lesson title
Students then recap on their prior knowledge by matching up the key words to the correct definitions with the correct answers on the PPT to correct their decisions.
Students will engage now in a carousel activity (remaining in their groups) investigating the reasons why Germany was defeated- looking at the 3 key factors (America, Red Army and German errors)
to demonstrate their knowledge. students analyse source from the PPT and answer the following question - Using the source and your own knowledge, outline the important role played by the USA in defeating Germany in WWII
