This is a short resource designed to help Year 2 students learn the basic addition of currency by combining pounds and pence.
I have an extended version of this resource available in my shop, which contains PDF versions of the following:
- A help sheet explaining how to add pounds, pence and the two combined, with examples for each and a list of all the types of coins and notes there are.
- An extended question sheet with a more questions on pound and pence combination, as well as word problems and an extension task to challenge students
- An answer sheet for teacher use or student consolidation.
