This is a short resource designed for Year 3 students to help them recognise and draw basic 2D and 3D shapes.
I have an extended version of this resource available in my shop, which contains PDF and Word versions of the following:
- A help sheet outlining the main 2D and 3D shapes, with their properties and real-life examples of 3D objects.
- An extended question sheet containing questions covering all the topics explained in the help sheet, including a prompt for students to practice drawing 2D shapes
- An answer sheet for teacher use or student consolidation.
