This selection contains retrieval and inference questions based on the extract from P. L. Travers’ Mary Poppins. Inference and retrieval questions can be cut out and slipped under a Monopoly Junior-style board, to engage the children in reading skills, prior to giving them the assessment. My year 6 intervention group love this activity and don’t notice that they are working! No Mark scheme provided.
