Suitable for KS3 and KS4. This lesson, learning mat and homework sheet are fully differentiated and walk pupils through how to answer questions dealing with multiplying fractions. The lesson features a starter, main, plenary and plenty of practice questions of ranging difficulty for pupils to work through. The worksheet starts with helping students revise key knowledge. It then moves on to address common misconceptions, and vocabulary associated with the topic and features worded questions to really challenge pupil’s understanding of the topic. The homework is also differentiated and features a section for pupils to self-assess their understanding. Learning Mat answers are presented through an interactive PowerPoint presentation which teachers can click through revealing answers section by section.
