Do your students love working with play dough? Are they struggling with patterns? Then these caterpillar task cards are the perfect addition to your math and pattern activities. These are also great for learners who benefit from sensory learning activities. Your students will love working on their pattern, counting and fine motor skills with these caterpillar task cards. The task cards encourage students to use play dough - or other manipulatives - to build the caterpillar and follow patterns. What’s Included? -Task cards from 0-10 where students need to form balls out of play dough and use them to fill in the blank circles on the caterpillar. This is great for working on counting skills and connecting number to quantity. -Two color pattern task cards - red and yellow -Two color pattern task cards - blue and yellow -Three color pattern task cards - blue, red and yellow -Follow on the pattern two color - red and yellow -Follow on the pattern two color - blue and yellow -Follow on the pattern three color - blue, red and yellow Instructions -Print out the included task cards. You can print all out or just the levels you’ll be using. -Cut out and laminate each of the individual task cards. -Provide your students with red, blue and yellow play dough. How to Use -Students will use play dough to form balls and put them onto the caterpillar’s body pieces. -For the first task cards, students will count the balls and place them onto the caterpillar’s body - to match the number on the task card. -For the two and three color pattern task cards, students need to form balls/circles out of the play dough in the same colors shown on the task cards - and match these together. -For the following on task crds - students need to form balls/circles out of the play dough in the same colors shown on the task cards and carry on the patterns. Your students will love working with this fun caterpillar activity to work on their counting, number recognition, pattern and fine motor skills. These task cards fit perfectly into photo storage boxes - making it easy for you to stay organised and keep all the pieces together.

Your students will love working on their number, instruction, counting and fine motor skills with this hands-on and engaging task box activity. What’s Included? -Task cards with instructions from 0-10. -Leaves How to Use -Students read - or be read - the instruction on the task card. -Then, students use a hole punch to punch that amount of holes into the leaf - that the caterpillar has eaten. -Next, students use a pipe clear or piece of string to thread through the holes, counting them as they go along. Instructions -Print out the included task cards and leaves. -Laminate the task cards. -Provide your students with a hole punch and pipe cleaner - follow the instructions above under ‘How to Use’ to find out how students complete this activity.
