Missmills1990's Shop

Average Rating4.08
(based on 18 reviews)

As teachers we are often going 90mph all day and then get home and have to keep working at 90mph to mark books, create homework or plan lessons. This lifestyle is something we as teachers share, however we don't always share enough of our work. I want my shop to be a place you can come and find things you are searching for at the end of a long day or first thing on a Monday morning, when you forgot to plan a starter for that Yr 8 class. My resources are fun and engaging and I hope you like them!

What is beauty? - Parts of the body and face

(0)
These resources look at Spanish body parts and parts of the face. Students will work towards writing a two-sided essay discussing 'What is beauty?'. They will practice parts of the face and body and in the process use the present tense to write their own poems about body parts. They will address common agreement errors, they will take part in engaging Pictionary style listening tasks, and practise speaking using the game Guess who? Furthermore students will become detectives to dissect a text about beauty pageants, using cognates and additional skills to help understand texts. Lastly they will use body parts along with the verb 'Querrer' in order to prepare for their essay. This topic is fun and engaging, while interesting and thought-provoking - a great hit with students!! Resources are easily printable and adaptable to your SOWs or teaching style. If you like these resources please take a look at the others I have to offer :) Similarly please review so I know how to improve.
