All activities included in this powerpoint aim at ensuring that GCSE Spanish students know a range of food & drink vocabulary and can talk / write about their diet using a range of tenses and a high-level mix of topic-specific vocabulary. Activities include: vocabulary building exercises, gap fill, reading comprehension, adjectives to describe food & adjective agreements, writing practice. There is enough content within the powerpoint to cover at least 3 lessons.

This is a fun revision lesson for Year 10 or 11. It consists of a series of activities which aim to recap key GCSE grammar and vocabulary. In order to ‘crack the code’, students must complete 9 activities. Each activity will provide students with a code word. Once all 9 activities are correctly completed, they will have 9 code words from which to form a sentence in Spanish. They will then have to translate this sentence into English to crack the code. Worksheet and accompanying powerpoint included. I did this recently with my Year 10 class and they absolutely loved it!

This pack contains enough resources on Film and Cinema to cover at least 3 lessons! It includes a detailed powerpoint and accompanying worksheets. It covers types of films, different opinion phrases and adjectives, comparatives and superlatives, and detailed high-level cinema language (eg. sound-track, script, plot etc.). It steadily builds pupils towards writing and producing their own film review / summary, as well as translating a high-level text on the topic of film and cinema.
