Mill Chase Academy values courage, excellence and ambition. The school strives to create individuals who respect others and work to their best ability. Children are rewarded for hard work and good behaviour, and their achievements are also celebrated by their peers.
Teachers aim to provide engaging lessons which are fun for all students. Mill Chase Academy hopes pupils take advantage of the opportunities presented to them, including clubs and activities outside of the classroom.
“Senior leaders have established an ethos of high expectation and aspiration which is central to the life of the school. This is bringing about ongoing and rapid improvement. The culture of safeguarding evident throughout the school is recognised by pupils, parents and staff. Pupils are safe, happy and well looked after because of the positive relationships they have with their teachers and other adults in the school. Effective systems put in place by leaders encourage pupils to behave well and have positive attitudes towards their learning. The atmosphere in lessons and around school is calm and purposeful. Teachers know their subjects well and plan lessons which build on pupils’ prior learning. They are passionate about doing the best for the pupils.”
