Pupils should work in pairs or threes, drawing right-angled triangles of various sizes in their books. They then work out the height to base ratio and the angle that goes with them (effectively creating a 'Tan' table). There is then some discussion of how to use this to answer questions. You will have to write on the powerpoint at some point! You could probably then create a follow up lesson which is a bit more practical...
