A Level RS - Ethics Induction Lesson

This is an induction lesson aimed at new or prospective students for A Level Religious Studies, introducing the ethics aspect of the course.

It is designed with the OCR specification in mind, however it would also work with other specifications.

It includes a powerpoint with the information and instructions and a worksheet for students to complete.

The powerpoint contains:

• video clips showing an ethical dilemma for discussion
• introduction to different approaches to ethics - normative and applied ethics - and an afl task assessing understanding
• introduction to ethical principles - teleological and deontological ethics - and an afl task assessing understanding
