Really effective resource, one of my fav creators on TES. These are really good for Low ATL or SEN heavy classes. Card loops are the second level of difficulty so this is medium (10 minute task), if you've got a SEN heavy or slightly slower class then this might take longer. Respiration can be a bit dry. Its one of those topics that's simple in theory at KS4 but often pushed out of the long term memory so needs to be retaught over and over. This is great for creating challenge and really maximizing memory. Great for group work and students really get to thinking. Its always great when the group gets it wrong and they have to really think about where the error is and why. These are low stakes but high thinking ratio. Good for before an essay task. I usually make this a race at the end of lessons and give prizes to the winners. Highly recommended
