A GCSE English Literature resource for teaching and revising the plot of George Orwell’s Animal Farm.

This resource supports students in developing secure knowledge of the novel’s main events, characters and turning points. It follows the narrative from Old Major’s dream and the rebellion through to Napoleon’s dictatorship, Boxer’s betrayal and the pigs’ final transformation.

The structured activities help students retrieve key information, explain important developments and understand how power, fear, propaganda and inequality shape the course of the novel.

The resource can be used for initial teaching, consolidation, intervention, revision or independent study. It is particularly useful for students who need support in retaining the sequence of events and connecting different stages of the plot.
