Bass Clef - Name That Note Challenge!

Key Stages 3 and 4

No musical background required!

Just click and go!

Are your students secure with notation? Can they confidently read bass clef notes?

This exciting resource gives students over 1000 opportunities to learn and reinforce their bass clef notation skills, in a fun but challenging way.

Students are set a series of timed challenges and must name hundreds of bass clef notes.

Included are 3 sets of 30-slide bass clef notes, in no particular order, presented through PowerPoint.
• Set 1 – Notes within the staff
• Set 2 – Same as above plus ledger lines
• Set 3 – Same as above plus accidentals (sharps and flats)

Each set has three levels. The levels are dictated by a time allocation.
• Level 1 Adagio 10 seconds per four-note slide
• Level 2 Moderato 6 seconds per four-note slide

And The The Ultimate Challenge
• Level 3 Allegro 3 seconds per four-note slide!

All challenges have music accompaniment.

Students record their answers on a prepared worksheet. All answers are included.
