These 5 questions are for approx. five-minute videos. In each film a contemporary local guide gives a tour of a different aspect of Ancient Greek lives, from the gods of Mount Olympus to slaves and children in the city-states.

the five films are:

  1. Everyday life in the the city-states
  2. Gods, goddesses, myths and magic
  3. Structures, statues, poems and plays
  4. The Olympics (but not as we know it)
  5. Theories, thoughts, language and law

All the question sheets are differentiated! Both versions look very similar, but “B” version has subtle clues. The sheets have 14 – 16 questions per film. .doc and .pdf of all sheets, link to video on all sheets. **Answer sheet. Very easy to mark. **

The BBC KS2 Class Clips Ancient Greece web-page has the videos and extensive teachers’ notes, suggesting further work.

All the sheets have a link to the BBC Teach page AND BBC Teach YouTube channel: the films are on both, but the BBC Teach page also includes extensive teachers’ notes, suggesting further work.

Please check that you can access the video before you download these sheets. All the links work when I upload. If my links no longer work, the videos may still be found elsewhere on YouTube, BBC Teach etc.
