Lower ability can graph the data for Santa's workshop
Middle ability can graph the data for the North pole
High ability can graph all the data and discuss the relationship
Once the children have made their graphs, I&'d get them to come up with 5 questions that they think no-one else will have thought of for their graph.
Sometimes I use question stems to support this
