A fun, hands-on phonics activity to help children develop their segmenting and early writing skills!

Children look at a picture, say the word, listen carefully for each sound, find the corresponding graphemes on the fireworks and build the word before writing it. A fantastic way to practise hearing sounds in words, matching phonemes to graphemes and applying phonics knowledge independently.

What’s included:

• 12 pages of CVC picture cards (36 pictures in total).
• Firework letters to build the words (All alphabet letters, plus the digraphs ll, ss, zz, ck, ff and qu).
• Two options for the letter k – with and without a loop.
