The first file has diagrams of a D.C. electric motor which the student has to complete. It is aimed at showing how continuous motion is achieved. It requires a knowledge of Fleming’s Left Hand Rule.

The second file has the answers.

The third file has a number of statements about how an electric motor rotates continuously. Students have to write them out in the correct order. It actually gives the correct order and the teacher may leave this in or remove it, depending on the ability of the class.
