Energy

This resource has multiple lesson plans and resources, that have been taught to cover a topic on energy in year 5.

It covers a wide range of curriculum areas including:
Science
Maths
English
History
Geography
Physical education

It also focuses on the Literacy and Numeracy framework (in Wales) as well as the DCF (in Wales) and the ESDGC.

This is hours of planning and covers hands on experential and enquiry based learning for children.

I had these lessons observed druing my NQT and I had excellent feedback for child engagement, developing thinking skills and autonomy. I also presented these lessons for the University of Wales Trinity ST David ‘Aiming for excellence’ conference. It had amazing feedback.
