An introduction to forces with illustrated examples of different types of forces. The second part then describes Newton’s second law as applied to horizontal translational motion and for objects in free fall with worked examples. There are 2 versions in the second part; for student and teacher. Teacher can print out the slides in condensed format (e.g. 2/3 slides per page) so that students can work through examples.
An introduction to momentum and impulse with simple worked examples with student and teacher versions. The second part describes the principle of conservation with a few worked examples.
Suitable for GCSE /IB MYP or as introduction to Mechanics for A-level/IB Diploma.
