Join us this Empathy Week for an online entirely FREE accredited teacher CPD session with the Born Free Foundation about empathy for animals titled: “Are Zoo Trips Actually in the Best Interests of Students and Animals?”

Zoo visits, chick-hatching projects and raising tadpoles are some of the traditional activities run in schools… But what if this is not the best way to introduce young people to animals and how to protect our planet? This CPD session will challenge traditional perspectives on how we would talk about animal welfare and share some of the best activities and school trips to build a school community that promotes and embodies empathy for animals and each other.

This is an accredited CPD for teachers who are open to challenge and keen to lead the way with a new approach to education on animal welfare & planet. Join us for this exciting expert panel, also including a Born Free Youth Ambassador and Junior Ambassador, to give us their perspectives.

Please note: This is an opportunity for PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS ONLY.
