GCSE German Stimmt Higher Module 3 Relationships Unit 5 Sentence Builder – Damals und Heute

This is a sentence builder designed for GCSE teaching - the topic is comparing childhood and teenage lives. The resource is based on the unit of comparing childhood and teenage lives in the Module 3 section (relationships) of the Stimmt higher textbook, but the language on the sentence builder is not restricted to the language in the textbook, as I have included a wide range of interesting language for students to refer to. The sentence builder allows students to learn language in chunks, so that they are immediately working at sentence level. The resource has been colour-coded, so that the verbs are in red, which highlights verb conjugations and word order in German. The resource is great for mixed ability teaching, as it is double sided, so that the key language is on the first page and the more complex language is on the second page. Teachers can either structure the lesson around the sentence builder by devising translation / reading / listening / speaking tasks based on it, or it can be used as a revision tool. If students miss a lesson, it is easy for them to catch up using the resource.
