As Handa carries her basket of fruit, children can match symbols, build sentences, and retell events using visual prompts. This structured approach supports language development—especially for children who benefit from visual cues—while keeping the story engaging, predictable, and fun. At the end of the activity, a communication mat is included so children can express whether they like or dislike each of the fruits, encouraging choice-making and simple expressive communication.
