Historical Fact or Historical Fiction

This activity is for use as an investigation or extension task for independent/group activity in History. Three distinct periods are covered (The Roman Empire, World War 1 and the Victorian Age). For each of the 3 areas of study the students will be presented with one of a series of 10 statements, they are challenged to decide if that statement is “historical fact” or “historical fiction”. If the students correctly identify the statement they will then be presented with a second statement and the process is repeated. The whole presentation contains 66 slides and navigation between slides is clearly shown. There are 10 statements for each of the 3 areas of study
