Presentation designed for use as a starter/plenary activity in KS3/4 English History or as a meaningful activity in a tutorial or general studies lesson.
On each slide a significant quote from a historical or contemporary figure is given and 4 possible “authors” of the quote. Students are challenged to use prior knowledge and reasoning to identify the correct author. Selection of the correct individual will lead to further information relating to the background of the saying. There are 50 different quotations and 103 slides in all with hyperlinks embedded throughout.
