Students begin this lesson by studying an image on the PPT slide and describe it in 5 words to develop intrigue. Students then study a second image and engage in a back to back description task. As their partner describes the image, they fill out the boxes with as much detail as possible. I tend to only allow 2 mins for each student to push on student engagement.
They will then use their knowledge to complete a Health Inspector report on the sanitation as well as making recommendations on how to improve the conditions
