These questions are for a four-minute video, one of a set of eight. This sheet is CHEAPER THAN HALF PRICE if you get them all in the bundle. I’ve only listed the sheets separately in order to make the bundle.

Have a look at the bundle here: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/resource-12812990

The BBC says: “This video gives a snapshot of Ancient Egypt and explores the value of sources to historians. It can be used to help the pupils understand how we find out about the past as well we the role of ‘place’ in historical civilisations. If it wasn’t for the River Nile, Ancient Egypt certainly wouldn’t have been as successful as it was - and potentially may never have existed. It also provides a platform to explore the STEM subjects in the context of Ancient Egypt, using a deben as a currency or tool for trade for example.”

The BBC KS2 Class Clips Ancient Egypt web-page has the video and extensive teachers’ notes, suggesting further work.

Differentiated! Both versions look very similar, but “B” version has subtle clues. 15 questions for the 4-minute film. .doc and .pdf of all sheets, link to video on all sheets. Answer sheet. Very easy to mark.

Please check that you can access the video before you download these sheets. All the links work when I upload. If my links no longer work, the videos may still be found elsewhere on YouTube, BBC Teach etc.
