This resource includes a revision based knowledge organiser for language, structure and form techniques to help students familiarise themselves with the necessary terminology required to succeed at both English Language and Literature in GCSE.
The resource includes two versions of the knowledge organiser:
- BLANK - This resource can be given to students to test their knowledge and understanding of English terminology. The definitions are already there, they just need to fill in the name of the technique! This can be done in class or set as homework.
- ANSWERS - This resource can be handed to students, fully completed, to use as a knowledge organiser. Alternatively, it can be used in conjunction with the BLANK version so students can self-mark.
The resource includes key language terms, including general terminology, sounds and imagery, as well as structure and form terms. Each version of the document is 3 pages long and can be used as is, or adapted to fit the needs and ability of your classes.
