This lesson was adapted from activities provided by the Personal Finance Education Group (PFEG) for My Money Week 2016 (https://www.pfeg.org/projects-funding/projects/my-money-week).

Includes a differentiated worksheet and a scaffolding sheet so that pupils can break down total salaries in order to calculate the appropriate amount of income tax.

I have also uploaded a linked lesson on debt -- these can be delivered together in either order or as standalone lessons.

Thanks - much more up to date than the resources I had, so thank you.<br /> Mshakir - it wasn't a mistake, the last £7000 is taxed at a higher rate.

Hi, Its a really good resource, but you have a mistake in it. Between slides 19 &amp; 20, you have the tax information incorrect so it does not make sense that you have gone from 39,000 to 32,000 without realising that in 2016 the income was up to 32,000 not 43,000

Great resource, nice sense of humour with the cats and the beard tax.
