By fully grasping the objectives of these lessons, students will develop a comprehensive understanding of lenses and ray diagrams, including how light interacts with convex and concave lenses to form images. They will be able to predict and describe image properties (real/virtual, upright/inverted, magnified/diminished) based upon the object’s position. Through simulations and practical experiments, and problem-solving activities students will reinforce their ability to analyse and interpret ray diagrams.
Some images have been removed due to copyright such as the images of short and longsightedness. I have also removed the template but it should be easy to make this for yourself.
The material also includes a review of light as a starter and a plenary to assess knowledge of lenses.
