This pack contains materials for a Science of Reading aligned, multisensory mini-unit for older children with reading and writing difficulties to learn about the differences between lowercase letters b and d. I created this because I found it almost impossible to find materials which felt fun, not too babyish, and weren’t based on American cultural references.

The main component is a fully illustrated book packed with multisensory approaches for remembering each letter, all wrapped up in a fun story with silly characters. I have also used the OpenDyslexic font to support dyslexic readers and increase legibility.
