Put your students’ detective skills to work with this FREE set of 3 mystery grid-based logic puzzles, featuring Sudoku- and Star Battle-style deduction!

Students use clues, deduction and elimination to work out where each character belongs on the map. There can be only one character in each row and each column, so every clue helps narrow down the possibilities. Once everyone is correctly placed, students use the completed map to solve the final mystery.

This sampler introduces the puzzle format gradually, progressing from a 6×6 grid to 7×7 and 8×8 grids.
